Krewe of Elders Party

Many have made the suggestion that Mardi Gras is such a great time, why not have it all year round. Well, Shreveport's Krewe of Elders is taking that idea to heart, with a big party coming up next weekend.
The Krewe's shindig is coming up Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 1 to 5:30 pm at The American Legion Hall Post No. 14 located at 5315 South Lakeshore Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. The Krewe, whose recently coronated royalty includes King Theophile Scott and Queen Janis Franklin, held their Grand Bal in January and is one of the areas fastest growing organizations.

Entertainment for the party will be provided by Dickie T and The Back When Band. There will be a cash bar, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. As with most Krewe of Elders activities, it's open to public. $6.00 members, $10.00 non-members. For all the information, call 635-4901 or 752-9185.
