Lake Charles Native Snaps Pictures of Yellowstone Prequel Filming
In case you have been living under a rock, the giantic show Yellowstone features love, money, greed, corruption, cowboys, and Indians. If you had to sum it up, it could best be described as a true modern-day western. As the series "jumped the shark" at the end of season three, fans were left with so many unanswered questions, the biggest question is who survived?
Season four of Yellowstone returns in November after a setback due to COVID-19, but it was announced in February of this year that there was a prequel in the making. The prequel, 1883, will take us back to that year. The series will follow the Dutton's as they make their way across the plains to Montana to settle on what we know as the Dutton Ranch. The series features a few names we are very familiar with including Sam Elliot, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw.
I have some friends over in Texas that are traveling nurses. Imagine my surprise when I see Sam Elliot poking his head out of a building in a picture. I instantly knew what I was seeing and got all giddy! These pictures are from the scenes being shot in Granbury. According to Granbury's local news, the roads were shut down in that area from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm that day for the filming of the show. They shut down quite a few streets during the day for this filming it seems.
1883 is set to debut Sunday, December 19 of this year and will be available on the Peacock streaming app. Series four of Yellowstone is set to come out November 4 of this year.
