Lauren Daigle Makes Music Chart History [Video]

Acadiana native Lauren Daigle is one more example of how music seems to well up from the ground here in Louisiana. The Lafayette native has won 2 Grammy awards. Her album "Look Up Child" has made music history. It's been number one on Billboard Magazine's Christian Albums chart for 39 weeks. That's a new record, surpassing Switchfoot's "The Beautiful Letdown", which reigned at #1 for 38 weeks in 2004-05. The single, "You Say" has topped the Hot Christian Songs chart for 51 weeks. I had the pleasure of attending one of her recent performances with the Acadiana Symphony. It was an uplifting evening!
