Northwestern State University’s Demon Aquatic Club will offer an after-school developmental swim program and competitive practices. Classes will be from 3-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday at Nesom Natatorium September through May. The cost includes a $60 registration fee that covers insurance and a monthly fee of $50 per swimmer.

Instructors will be students employed through NSU Demon Aquatics under the supervision of Cindy Davis, Aquatics director. Activities will include but not be limited to water safety, water games, drills, fitness swimming and stroke and race technique. All participants must have registration forms completed in order to participate.

The program is open to all swimmers who possess skills necessary to be independent in the water. At this time, Demon Aquatics is not registering swimmers with USA Swimming or participating in swim meets as a club; however, Demon Aquatics can provide and supervise competitive-based workouts for those interested. Space is limited. Participants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information or to obtain a registration form, e-mail Davis at cindyd@nsula.edu.
