Shreveport Airport Authority officials will meet with current, former and prospective contractors Thursday, July 14, in its third floor conference room.

The purpose of the meeting will be to give information on future airport projects and explain how to do business with the airport.

“We want people to know it’s easy to do business with us,” said Shreveport Airport Authority interim director Bill Cooksey.

The meeting for former and current contractors will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the meeting for prospective contractors will be at 1:30 p.m. Officials with the City of Shreveport and the Shreveport Airport Authority will be available to answer questions.

“We are a part of the community and much of what we do will create jobs,” Cooksey said.

The meeting will also cover complying with Federal DBE guidelines.
