LIVE: Gov Edwards Speaks On Effort To Prepare For Two Hurricanes

Governor Edwards will speak about the state's response to tropical storms Marco and Laura today at 11:30 am. The National Hurricane Center updated the forecast tracks at 10:00 AM CDT. Take a look at the forecast tracks below.

Landfall for #Marco is now expected Monday evening near Grand Isle.

#Laura is now expected to make landfall in the early morning hours of Thursday over Cameron Parish.

Another reminder that these are models that have changed often. The forecast tracks for both storms could (and likely will) change before these storms make their impact. Local authorities say now is the time to prepare.
