Lock of John Lennon’s Hair Sells For $35K…In Dallas

Dallas based Heritage Auctions has sold a lock of John Lennon's hair for $35,000, more than three times the price anticipated. The auction house included the lock of hair in a special sale that was made up of about a hundred other Beatles collectibles.

A collector in Great Britain bought the 4-inch lock.

Lennon's hair came from a German stylist who groomed the late Beatle when he was working on the 1967 film, "How I Won the War".
