Meet Presley! Webster's Dictionary should have her picture right beside the definition of "fighter" as she's proven to so many that she doesn't have an ounce of "quit" in her!

In a story from Newsweek, we learn that Presley was a stray who was found wandering near some train tracks in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, and was taken to Jefferson Protection and Animal Welfare Services with this huge growth on her head and a fractured tibia.

It's obvious that Presley couldn't have landed in more capable, loving hands!

Jefferson Protection and Animal Welfare Services immediately went into action and transported her to LSU where they were able to perform surgery to remove the mass from her head and place pins in her back legs.

On their Facebook page, Jefferson Protection and Welfare Services was quick to hand out the praise to others as they thanked The Drew Pet Foundation, for their fund raising efforts and for fostering Presley until she could get to LSU.

They also showed their deep gratitude to the amazing team at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine for their prompt treatment, beyond exceptional care, and continued fostering of Presley.

The picture below shows just how incredible of a transformation Presley made with the surgery.

JPAWS happily reported that the mass removed from Presley was benign but she's still got a pretty long road ahead of her as she recovers from the pins placed in both of her back legs and after some physical therapy as she strengthens those legs, she'll need a double FHO surgery (the surgical removal of the head and neck of the femur) and then recovery from that surgery.

But, comparing what she's already been through to how she looks today, it looks like this sweet girl is certainly up to any battle that comes her way.
