These days, we're seeing automation take jobs from real hard-working human beings. Compared to most states, Louisiana workers are in bad shape.

Automation certainly affects all people from all walks of life. No matter the profession, chances are, there's a cheaper and equally efficient way for employers to replace their workers with automation.

An Oxford Economics report  states that Louisiana workers are "especially vulnerable" to automation eventually taking their jobs. They base this claim by pointing out that Louisiana's status sits in a "low-skill" region, and a region that heavily leans on service and manufacturing jobs.

Country-wide, only one states fares worse than Louisiana when it comes to automation vulnerability, that state being Oregon. Louisiana ranked second, with Texas and Indiana right behind.
