There's no way around it, some folks are just bad.  I try to see the best in people, and for the most part I'm successful.  That being said, I'm having a real hard time seeing Cut Off, Louisiana native Dillon Terrebonne (pictured above) as anything other than a horrible person.

According to Fox News, 27-year old Terrebonne was arrested late last week after he allegedly assaulted an unnamed woman he was having an argument.  Reportedly, Terrebonne pulled to the side of Highway 90 during the argument and got out.  He allegedly walked to the passenger side of the vehicle, opened the door, and began striking the woman in the face and strangling her.

Luckily, she was able to escape the attack - but once she exited the vehicle, Terrebonne reportedly jumped back in the vehicle and drove away with her child strapped into a car seat in the back of the car.  Witnesses say that he pulled over again, about a mile from the scene of the attack.  That when he took the child out of the vehicle and placed it on the median of the busy highway.

A good Samaritan by the name of Luke Dufrene happened to see the suspect drop the child off and leave.  That's when Dufrene leapt into action by pulling his truck in front of the infant to block the oncoming traffic.  The child's mother and another witness arrived seconds later.

Later that evening (Thursday, Feb. 25th), deputies from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office caught up with Terrebonne and placed him under arrest.  He is currently in the Lafourche Parish jail, charged with domestic abuse battery involving strangulation, child endangerment and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
