One mom was arrested after her son accidentally shot himself in his own arm

This is incredibly sad, and shows us the real danger with unsecured firearms. That danger is something that obviously all of us know exists and we recognize, but I believe some folks out there fall under the disbelief that it would never happen to them.

A St. Parks woman was arrested after her two-year-old son shot himself in the arm with an unsecured gun. Luckily for all involved, the little guy was treated for his injuries, and was released from the hospital the next day.

Charges in the case were dismissed.
