Let me start by making myself clear, I had the absolute time of my life tonight.

Louisiana Prize Fest is one of my favorite things about Shreveport-Bossier. I love taking part in it each and every year, I love the people that are involved with it, and I really love the spotlight it shines on our area. What started as a seasonal festival highlighting short films from our area has quickly blossomed into a year-round celebration of Shreveport talent Whether it be film, music, or fashion, Prize never slows down and never stops highlighting our own.

Tonight, I was lucky to be a part of Louisiana Music Prize Unplugged #2, featuring five truly amazing local bands at the gorgeous Frank's Pizza Napoletana. All of the bands, which you can read more about by clicking HERE, were absolutely phenomenal.

It blew me away that talent like this exists in Shreveport, and I love that the Prize is here to make sure the community knows them and supports them.

This was one of my favorite nights in a long time, and I enjoyed being a part of it. Soon, I will update this article with a full gallery from the night's festivities.
