LSU Baseball continued its up and down season this weekend in Baton Rouge as they played host to the Auburn Tigers. LSU took a lead into the ninth, but gave up a 2-run home run to tie the game, and ended up dropping it in extra innings 5-4.

Auburn was able to plate the winning run in the top of the 11th with a one run double from Shortstop Will Holland, while the Auburn bullpen was able to keep LSU off the board for the win.

Zack Hess was given the loss in the game, his season record is now 3-5.

LSU is now 34-22 on the season, with a 17-13 record in the SEC. They will be the #5 seed in the SEC Tournament next week in Hoover, AL, and are still alive to host an NCAA Regional in Baton Rouge.

The win for Auburn puts them at 32-23 overall on the season, and 14-16 in SEC play.
