The legendary (and sometimes difficult to understand) head coach of the LSU Tigers football team, Ed Orgeron, is coming to Shreveport!  The larger-than-life Coach O has confirmed that he and LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda will be joining the slate of incredible speakers at this year's Louisiana High School Coaches Association convention.  This meeting of the sports minds will be held right here in Shreveport for the second year in a row!

The Advocate reports that Mike the Tiger's best friend and Super-Dave the Defensive Dynamo won't be alone: They will be joined by Tulane football coach Willie Fritz, Alabama State volleyball coach Penny Lucas-White,  Catholic High wrestling coach Tommy Prochaska, and lots more coaches, coordinators, and recruiters will all be on hand.  The 2-day coaching pow-wow exists as a way for coaches to network and learn how to build better teams and prepare their players for college athletics.

Experts and professionals in football, soccer, volleyball, baseball, and more will be on hand for a pretty intense speaking schedule.  The convention is June 4th and 5th at the Shreveport Convention Center, Coach O will speak at  9 a.m. on June 5 and will be immediately followed by Dave Aranda.
