Former LSU Running Back Leonard Fournette raised a lot of eyebrows, and maybe a few red flags, at the NFL Combine when he weighed in at 240 pounds. After that weigh-in, he went out and blistered a 4.51 second time in the 40-yard dash, which squashed some of the concern.

But Fournette didn't stop there, he shed enough weight to weigh-in at 228 pounds during LSU's Pro Day this week. Which went a long way to silencing any critics...if there are any left. Fournette's performance at the Pro Day this week has possibly moved him to the front of the NFL Draft Running Back Class. But there are still some out there in the NFL media who are not sold on Fournette's weight (so we did find a critic)

Another former LSU star who had a huge Pro Day was Defensive Back Jamal Adams, who crushed it with a 4.33 in the 40-yard dash.

Which is a huge improvement vs. his NFL Combine time, that was around 4.5 seconds. Adams has been floating around a Top 5 Pick projection from a lot of "NFL Draft Experts", and knocking out at 4.3'ish time in the 40 could almost lock him in to be drafter before Leonard Fournette.

Shreveport native Tre'Davious White also participated in the LSU Pro Day, running a 4.47 in the 40-yard dash

In addition to his speed, his length and agility have been praised by multiple NFL Scouts, and he's even caught some attention from the Cleveland Browns, who have four picks in the first two rounds of the draft, including a pair in the first round. With White's career performance, and scouting numbers, he's nearly locked himself in to the first round of the NFL Draft.

Former LSU wide receiver Malachi Dupre has been a topic of conversation around the state recently, but not for a great reason. There are some sharing concern that he may have come out too early, and could have used one more season in Baton Rouge.

It's unlikely that Dupre will be a first round pick, but could make his way into one of the first three rounds of the draft. Which of course isn't terrible, he's clearly an NFL caliber talent, but another season in Baton Rouge could have pushed him into the conversation for a first round slot, a difference that's worth tens-of-millions of dollars.
