So the concert season is officially back on in Bossier City. Since the rock and rollers, Lynyrd Skynyrd have announced it on their website, it must be official!

Lynyrd Skynyrd is coming to Bossier City on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Though they mistakenly refer to the Bossier City concert venue as the previous Centurylink Center, we know they meant to say "Brookshire Grocery Arena."

You might be asking yourself "Why is this concert important to my favorite "country" radio station?

Glad you asked! For two years in a row, out of literally hundreds of songs that we played for auditoriums full of country partisans, "Sweet Home Alabama" was the overall most popular "non-country" song throughout Shreveport/Bossier.

Course, that was long before Nick Saban ever dreamed of going to Alabama's football team and heating up our rivalry, but it's still really hard for even the biggest country fans to not sing along every time we hear the song.

Though we don't have any specifics at this time in regard to ticket prices, we do know that tickets will be available at ticketmaster.com

Oh and don't hate me for the video, but the song was stuck in my head, so I figured it might as well get stuck in yours too!
