Make Plans This Saturday – We Care About Our Kids Day

I can't believe it's been over a year since it happened. Now, at the time, I hadn't joined the KVKI Family yet, but just hearing about what happened to Justin Bloxom on the news was just heart-wrenching.

That's why I'm glad to be a part of the KVKI family now and able to participate in "Justin Bloxom - We Care About Our Kids Day."

It amazes me how young kids use technology... My own nephew is only 8 years old and already has his own laptop and keeps asking for his own I-Phone!

But there are so many dangers that just weren't around even a few years ago. That's why we've teamed up with the Caddo Sheriff’s Department for this event.

It's this Saturday, the 16th, 9am until 2pm at Safety Town.

The kids will have some fun exploring Safety Town. Plus, everyone will be able to learn how to keep kids safe while they use the internet and cell phones.

We'll have Child safety seat fittings, bike rodeos, tours of Safety Town, and information sessions on water safety, weather safety, Stranger Danger, internet safety, and sexting….and it’s all absolutely FREE.
