WBRZ in Baton Rouge is reporting a man has been arrested for breaking into a business's property in an attempt to sexually abuse two dogs.

The report says 28-year-old Rage Hewitt was taken into custody after a warrant had been issued for his arrest. The warrant says that surveillance footage shows Hewitt removing boards from a wooden fence on a property on Cedarcrest Avenue in Baton Rouge, and entering the property.

Once on the property, the footage reportedly shows Hewitt remove his clothes, and start to chase the dogs.

According to WBRZ, the incident lasted about 15 minutes, and was mostly caught on the surveillance video. They state that the video shows Hewitt trying to wrap a shirt around one of the mouth of one of the dogs. He is also shown holding his genitals near the animal's face, with his back turned to the camera.

The report indicates that there was a point where Hewitt was able to corner an animal, and what took place was not caught on video, but the sounds of the dog yelping were picked up on the recording.

Police said that after about 15 minutes, Hewitt gathered his clothes, and left the property through the hole he created in the fence to enter the property. Officers also told WBRZ that it's unclear what happened to the dog when Hewitt had it off camera, but it did have to be treated for an injury on its leg.

Hewitt was arrested in Ascension Parish, and was extradited to Baton Rouge. He faces multiple charges, including Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, Attempted Sexual Abuse of An Animal, and Unauthorized Entry of a Place of Business.
