Man Dies In Fatal Motorcycle Wreck

Rufus Taylor of Shreveport has died after being involved in a motorcycle wreck on Highway 79 in Claiborne Parish. According to State Police, Taylor's Harley left the roadway for an unknown reason, hit a tree stump and was thrown from his bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say Taylor was not wearing a DOT approved helmet at the time of the crash. Impairment is suspect to be a factor.
