Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party allowed viewers to see an unlikely but ultimately profitable pairing between Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart. Now, the show has been renewed by VH1 for a second season.

“That’s right, me and my homegirl Martha will be back for another season and we can’t wait,” said Snoop Dogg. “Thanks to all the fans who tuned into Season 1. If ya’ll thought this season was fun, wait ’til you see what we have cookin’ up next for ya.”

Already, the first season has been a hit, with everyone from Rick Ross stopping by for a memorable if not awkward visit where he showed his love for Martha, to 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, Kelis, 2 Chainz and Anderson. Paak. The show was named cable’s top new unscripted franchise, winning its time period with all key demos and scoring 3 million total viewers. While the specific details about the second season haven't been shared as of yet, it's fair to assume that fans can expect more of the same.

In addition to having his show renewed, Snoop was also recently the subject of a roast when All Def Digital hosted a “Smoked Out Roast” of the veteran rapper, which featured Russell Simmons and Wiz Khalifa among others. Additionally, Snoop is set to head out on tour next month for the Puff Puff Pass Tour Part 2 with DJ Quik and Warren G.  Meanwhile, click here to catch up on previous episodes of Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party.
