YouTuber Marzia Bisognin, who is engaged to fellow famous YouTube prsonality PewDiePie (Felix Kjellberg), has announced her departure from the streaming platform.

On Tuesday (October 23), lifestyle content creator Marzia shared in an emotional vlog that she has decided to quit YouTube after she found herself struggling "with finding a reason to keep going."

"All I have is this feeling that it is time for me to try something new in my life. This may seem so sudden to most of you, probably, but it is something that I knew for a long time," she shared in a video posted to her channel, which currently has 7.4 million subscribers.

"I ended up in front of the computer a lot, and for the first time I started realizing how much there was on YouTube," she continued, adding that the platform "opened up a whole new world" for her. "Obviously Felix was doing it for a few months at this point, but it never occurred to me that there could be much more than cat videos and gaming."

Unfortunately, as Marzia recounts, as her fiancé's popularity grew on YouTube, she says she began to feel like a "fraud."

"I definitely didn’t deserve all the attention. I just happened to know someone who did," she shared, opening up about how YouTube eventually had a negative affect on her mental health.

"After a few months, I realized it was because I had allowed myself to become completely cut off from the world. I wasn’t seeking any friendships and I was just finding comfort in my own little bubble on YouTube. I think it’s great how people can relate to others online. I grew so much more confident because of it, but if you allow it to take over your life, I think it’s not healthy.“

Now, Marzia says she hopes to find a new path — her own path.
