Mayor Holds Final Public Meeting On Streets

Mayor Cedric Glover will host a public meeting Thursday, October 20th,  to present details about his plan to ``Fix Shreveport’s Streets Now!’’Thursday's meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Randle T. Moore Community Center, 3101 Fairfield Ave.  Last week’s public meeting attracted a modest crowd but generated questions ranging from the materials that might be used to ensure the work lasts longer to reasons why this plan is better than a more conservative ``pay-as-you-go’’ approach.
