New Tattoo Trend Focuses On Causing Pain Not Making Art

Vice is an amazing source for finding new subcultures and this one is almost hard to even comprehend. More people have tattoo's than ever before with myself included. People will spend thousands for artists to turn their skin into works of art with all different kinds of styles to choose from. But there's a new subculture of tattoo's emerging from italy where the focus is on causing pain instead of making art.

It's no secret that tattoo's hurt no matter how tough someone tries to be, but for the most part an artist will try and let you have breaks or talk you through the pain... Not with this new tattoo fad! It's called Brutal Black and it's exactly how it sounds! The majority of the tattoos are just lines covering your body with the object to make the client feel as much pain as possible. Call me a big baby if you want but there's no way I would do this...
