Some Shreveport police officers are not happy about an email they got from the police chief. Police Union President Michael Carter says the chief is "coercing" officers to vote for the bond issue on the ballot next month.

Chief Ben Raymond has apparently set up an online poll to find out how his officers feel about the bond election.

Here's what the Chief sent to all officers:

Carter says officers feel like their job could be in jeopardy and that the "fear of retaliation is real."  Though the Chief says this is an anonymous poll, Carter disputes that, saying all of these emails can be tracked. He also questions the use of a public computer to send out this poll.
