Our Top 5 Shreveport/Bossier City Weekend Events Friday, December 21 – Sunday, December 23

It’ll be Christmas in CandyVille this Saturday at the CenturyLink Center from 10-4 and it’ll be the sweetest place in town for kids of all ages! It’s $10 cash per participant and activities include the enchanted lands of Gummy Gallery, Cake Pop Shop, Camp Candy Corn, Gingerbread Gymnasium, Jawbreaker Junction, Pop Rock & Roll Theater, Mentos Mines and Peppermint Palace! They’ll also have arts and crafts, vendors, food and photos with Mrs. Claus!

Moe Bandy and Joe Stampley are taking over Margaritaville’s Paradise Theater Saturday night starting at 8pm for a 21+ show. The only tickets I saw left were $45.

Santa Claus will be in Haughton Saturday morning starting at 8am, rolling through Fire District 1 on the back of a fire truck throwing candy!

The Christmas Extravaganza presented by Vicki’s Dancers is tomorrow at the Strand Theatre at noon and then again at 5pm with tickets ranging from $18-40. This Broadway-style event will feature more than 200 local dancers and American Idol contestant Garret Jacobs!

The Shreveport Aquarium is hosting a Christmas Market and Laser Light Show daily thru Christmas Eve from 5-9pm. Admission is $15.
