Owners Of Boomtown Sell Company For $2.8 Billion
Boomtown Casino which is currently owned by Pinnacle Entertainment is in the process of being sold to Pennsylvania based company, Penn National Gaming. KSLA reports that the buyout is for $2.8 Billion in cash and stock. The buyout will include 4 properties in Louisiana alone including Boomtown Casino in Bossier City, Boomtown Casino in New Orleans, L'Auberge Casino in Lake Charles and L'Auburge Casino in Baton Rouge.
One of Penn National Gamings most well known casinos is the Tropicana in Las Vegas but they own properties all across the country. The deal is expected to close later in 2018 with operations continuing normally until then.
