Can the heartbreak please stop? My heart can't take any more restaurant closings. Papa Murphy's was one of my favorite quick stops in North Bossier. I loved having the option of dropping in on Tuesdays and getting my $10 pizza that would serve as my breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a couple of days. Let's be real we all love a delicious take and bake ever so often. For me, it was at least once a month. Now, I will have to go all the way to Line Ave in Shreveport.

I had several failed attempts at getting my Papa Murphy's after April. When COVID-19 started to close down a lot of businesses I would pick up pizza and head home, I started to rely on Papa Murphy's. One day I pulled up and they were closed, I figured their hours had changed like many other businesses. I had no idea they planned to close permanently.

A wonderful 11-year run has now ended for Papa Murphy's on Beene Boulevard. The sign on the front door killed any hopes of the take and bake pizza spot reopening.

It's not just Papa Murphy's that closed down in that plaza on Beene Boulevard, Dicky's Barbecue Pit also closed down and there are now 5 empty businesses in that plaza. What business would you like to see move into the empty spaces?
