Parents Fined For Tardy Kids

So have you heard about this story. Talk about how stories get spun, by the victim and they get the media to buy it all. This story is not that much different.

When this story broke yesterday, it was in all the news reports that the Denicore family was being charged with a misdemeanor by Loudon County, VA for making their kids late to school a few times and that's it. That's all there was to the story. Then of course the outrage from people about how could we allow this to happen? The Nanny State, etc.

While this is true, what is missing is (in my best Paul Harvey) the rest of the story.

What was left out of the story was that these parents are guilty of making their kids late for school...(hold onto your hat for this one) 150 times over the last 2 years.

Because of this, the Denicore's could be paying $3000. But don't hold your breath on this, Mr. Denicore is a lawyer and I think he will get this tossed, but seriously, 150 times?
