Remember those rumors that Michael Jackson‘s posthumously released ‘Michael’ album included vocals recorded by an MJ impersonator? Well, they’re back — thanks to a video that, according to TMZ, features Jackson’s own daughter calling the new recordings fake.

According to the latest reports, the video comes from an online chat that Jackson’s daughter Paris had with some friends just before the ‘Michael’ album was released. After playing the song ‘Hold My Hand,’ Paris was asked why the singer in the song doesn’t sound like her dad, and she was quick to respond.

“It’s NOT him,” Paris allegedly told her friends. “The whole album isn’t even him!! Go online … Go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That’s him! I should know if it’s him or not because he would sing to me all the time.”

Malachi’s name has been connected to the ‘Michael’ sessions for years, and there are countless YouTube videos that allegedly prove the connection between his voice and the tracks on the album. But hearing these allegations from Jackson’s own daughter could prove a tipping point for fans — and could be problematic for the executives at Sony Music who have long denied the rumors.

According to TMZ’s report, a recording of the video chat is being shopped to the highest bidder, and “offers are on the table.” Maybe if we all put our spare change together, we can buy it. Are you in?
