Legendary singer Paul Simon -- one half of the iconic folk duo Simon & Garfunkel -- has been arrested for disorderly conduct in New Canaan, Connecticut. His wife, Edie Brickell, has been arrested on the same charge as well, ABC News reports. The pair, who have been married since 1992, live in New Canaan.

ABC reports that a New Canaan police spokesperson did not reveal any more details about the arrests, except that they occurred from an incident that occurred on Saturday, April 26. According to NBC News Connecticut, the couple was arrested after police investigated a "family dispute."

In addition to his role in Simon & Garfunkel, Simon has also enjoyed a successful solo career and has won a total of 12 Grammy Awards. His wife is also a musician, best known for the hit song 'What I Am' with her band the New Bohemians.

Simon and Brickell have been married for more than 20 years and have three children together.
