When I came to the Shreveport-Bossier City area about 5 months ago, my wife and I looked around for places to live and we were blown away what a wonderful Real Estate market this is. So last night I was on Zillow and did a side by side comparison from the Los Angeles area to the Shreveport-Bossier City. The differences are INSANE!!!!

Shreveport-Bossier Example:
Location: 1102 Cardiff Cir., Bossier City, LA 71111
Specs: 1800 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 2 bath
Price: $224,900
Here is what it looks like:

Now for a what you can find in Los Angeles, CA
Part 1:
Location: 151 W 59th Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90003 (inner city L.A.)
Specs: 1800 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 2 bath
Price: $260,000

Part 2: Let's get closer to the ocean, because that is really where everyone wants to be...hold on to you hat for this one.
Location: 2031 S Bentley Ave, APT 301, Los Angeles, CA 90025
Specs: 1800 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 2 bath
Price: $520,000
Here is what it looks like: Keep in mind, this is an apartment on the 3rd floor.

Part 3: So you would rather forgo the ocean for a little bigger yard and little nicer home with the same specs.
Location: 10351 Glade Ave, Chatsworth, CA 91311 (in the northern part of L.A. near Simi Valley)

Even if I ever wanted to move back to California, you can count me out. Shreveport-Bossier City's home prices sold. Not to mention, I grew up in this area and it is home for me and my family.
