OK, Ric Flair has had a pretty interesting week. There's a ton of rumors swirling that he will be suing the WWE over the term "The Man", which is apparently causing issues between Flair and his daughter. See, his daughter Charlotte is currently one of the top females in the company, the other woman at the center of the potential lawsuit, WWE Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch, is one of Charlotte's best friends.

But even if Flair appears to be making a heel turn against the company, he's still an all-time fan-favorite. Everywhere he goes, he's beloved. Just like when he made his last stop in the SBC.

Flair has a long history in Louisiana, and the Shreveport area (honestly, he's got a legendary history in most regions) from matches with Junkyard Dog to stops on major staple shows like Monday Night Raw. In fact, his final match in our area was on Monday Night Raw back in 2007.

Over a decade ago, Flair took on Kenny Dykstra in a televised match on Monday Night Raw. The match actually took place in Bossier City, at the CenturyTel (now CenturyLink) Center. The "wooooooos" were echoing that night as Flair "stole" a win over Dykstra with a "dirty pin" using the ropes after a 3 and a half minute match.

Just over a year later, Flair would retire after his final Wrestlemania match against Shawn Michaels.
