Riot for the Rescue Fundraiser Event Set for Next Saturday

One of my favorite places in town is the Port City Cat Rescue. They have such a great set up for cats that need homes. The place is a cat paradise with plenty of places to climb, hide, and be themselves. If you're not familiar with the rescue let me fill you in. They are a no-kill shelter, and pull cats from high kill shelters, provide them vetting and care, and house them until we can find forever homes through adoption. Last year I got to take a tour of the place and hang out with their cats. According to a Facebook event page, there will be a fundraiser night at Bear's Saturday, September 22. Starting at 7 pm five bands will be performing including: Ultrariot, Feral Daughters, Merrows, The Dead Chachis, and Grizzly Shark. March packages will be raffled off during the show and the proceeds will go directly to Port City Cat Rescue. To find out more information about the event click here.
