River Cities Triathlon Is Sunday, August 2

Athletes from all over the region will converge on Shreveport Bossier area this weekend for the 35th anniversary of the River Cities Triathlon.

It's August 2 at Cypress-Black Bayou Park in Benton. Official race hotel is Diamond Jacks Casino and the Hilton Garden Suites in Bossier City. Park gates will open at 6 a.m. but parking will be limited and congested. Click here for entry information.

It's expected to be another hot weekend with temps topping 100 degrees on Sunday afternoon.
