Road Projects Coming Up in Shreveport Will Cause Re-routing

Two construction projects will cause some changes for a little while in Shreveport.

Asphault overlay begins next week on Hanna Street in the Martin Luther King area. This means SporTran will have to redirect bus route no. 12. The detour will be one block south of the regular route, near Pearl Street. That project is expected to last one week. Take a look at the configuration:

From Monday, July 11, to Friday, July 22, residents need to prepare for the closing of Monkhouse Drive between the intersections of Hollywood and Interstate Drive. This is being done for work associated with a sewer project, and city officials say the closure was unavoidable.

Detours have been set up to direct traffic entering and exiting the airport while Monkhouse is closed.
