Robert Bond has entered his formal plea in Bossier Parish, where he is accused of killing his wife, Annie.

Bond pleaded not guilty to a second degree murder charge.

The Bossier City couple were reported missing in November and a search commenced to find them.

Mr. Bond was located in Mississippi a few days later, suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. That wound forced him to go to the hospital before he could be brought back to Bossier Parish.

A few days later, charred remains were discovered near Bayou Dorcheat in Webster Parish. After analyzing the remains, it was confirmed that those remains were of Annie Bond.

Bond was brought back to Bossier Parish on December 12, 2013 and was charged with second degree murder. He's held on a $1 million bond.
