Schedule of District 1 High School Football Games Slated for Oct. 8 and 9

To say that COVID has brought on it's share of "challenges" would be like saying that driving on Louisiana roads is somewhat "eventful." Using our "cup half full" kind of perception, especially after all the hoops that had to be jumped through, we've managed to salvage some semblance of a "normal" fall. Complete with LSU and college football from many of the conferences, we were finally given the go-ahead for high school football and our area schools finally got to play their first season game last week.

That said, though the stands are only shadows of their former selves, lots of schools have found ways to stream games either through Facebook, via the school's website or one of several other ways.

So, the "Boys of Fall" are having to play a somewhat shortened season, they still are getting to play and the year will be complete with state championships and everything.

However, COVID has made bringing you a 100% accurate schedule a lot more challenging than ever before, below are the games that we are highly certain will be played.
