Sears is getting a TON of heat for sending a marketing email out to people in the affected regions offering 10% off on things like Wet Vacs and power generators.

It’s not a coincidence, either.  The email headline reads, quote, “Affected by the storm? Sears can help you clean up.”

Now, sure, people DO need those things and the discount is probably appreciated.  But is it really appropriate to send targeted marketing to people whose lives have been devastated?
