Shreveport Actor Highlight – Anna Maria Sparke
There's a really fun show coming to town that will strike a chord with everyone young and old. It's the Broadway version of Mary Poppins! And it's coming in July to the Emmett Hook Center in downtown Shreveport. I had the pleasure of sitting down with the star herself playing the role of Mary Poppins Anna Maria Sparke.
Anna Maria and I have done many shows together, and always have a fun time. You'll be hard pressed to find a more genuinely nice person.
There's something special almost magical about community theater. Normal people from different walks of life all coming together to put on a production. Let me tell you there's a whole host of talented folks right here in Shreveport.
Regardless, the Broadway musical Mary Poppins, is coming to the Emmett Hook Center in Shreveport, LA. I put together a small video series that will highlight and help you get to know some of the lead actors from the show that opens July 10th and runs through July 19th.
