Shreveport-Bossier Is Divided On More Than Just NFL Teams

Our passion for sports is definitely something we agree on.

Spring time is just around the corner and for many that means the excitement of baseball returns. Baseball and softball were a big part of my family as I was growing up. Both of my brothers played baseball and I was obsessed with softball. Needless to say we have our favorite teams.

And so does Shreveport-Bossier.

We know that football is king in the south. In our area there are plenty of fans cheering for both the Dallas Cowboys and the New Orleans Saints. Heck, there may be fans of the Houston Texans now that I think of it. Recently, I discovered that there is also a divide among Major League Baseball teams in Northwest Louisiana.

A map produced by Vivid Seats suggests that we love both the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros in Shreveport-Bossier. To take things even further, there's another map spotted on Reddit that would add a third team into the mix. That map says were are divided between the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves.
