Authorities need your help to find a man wanted for a weekend car-jacking.

A suspect is being sought by police following an alleged car-jacking that occurred near south east Shreveport this past weekend. Shreveport Police officers responded to the intersection of Southfield Road at Youree Drive relative to an alleged car-jacking. The female victim told officers she was accosted by a man who approached her vehicle as she was preparing to exit a private parking lot. According to the victim, the man, after beckoning for her to roll down her window, forced his way inside the woman's SUV forcing her to remain captive in the vehicle as he sped off, narrowly missing other cars.

During the terrifying ordeal, the victim, amid struggles with the offender, managed to escape from the suspects grasp and jump from the vehicle as it slowed near the intersection of Southfield Road at Youree Drive. The suspect, after losing his would be captor, fled the scene driving the victim's stolen vehicle. The woman, who escaped serious injury was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The victims SUV was found abandoned near Clyde Fant Parkway.
