A Shreveport shooting has left 1 man injured and another dead. The shooting began as an argument over the exchange of a child between parents that were no longer together. The shooting took place at the In-And-Out Grocery Store on Linwood Avenue.

The argument between the child's mother and father escalated to violence when the father of the child began shooting at the mother and the mother's boyfriend. The boyfriend, fearing for the safety of those involved, returned fire on the child's father.

After both men were transported to the hospital for treatment, the father of the child died from his injuries at the hospital.

Both men were shot during the exchange. No names have been released as of yet, but it's believed that the father of the child in the dispute was in his 50s. Both men were transported to a local hospital where they were treated for their injuries. No word yet on any charges filed, or the severity of the injuries involved.
