A Shreveport man has died following an early Thursday morning shooting.  On Thursday, February 11, 2021, at around 3:23 a.m., Shreveport Police arrived to the 2600 block of Merwin Street to a shooting. Officers located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot injuries to the upper body. Treyshun J. Bogan, 25 was immediately transported to Ochsner LSU Health with life-threatening injuries where he later died from his injuries.  Mr. Bogan was positively identified through fingerprint comparison.

Violent crimes and Crime scene investigators responded to this location and began their investigation which is still underway. Witnesses were interviewed and evidence was collected. At this time there is no additional information. This is an on-going investigation. The victim will be identified at a later time.
