Shreveport Man Wounded in Mooretown Shooting

More violence in Shreveport. The latest happened at a Mooretown home where a resident was shot while he sat in his porch late Wednesday night. It all happened around midnight in the 4200 block of Mandelane Street. Detectives believe someone in a dark-colored vehicle drove by and shot at him with a rifle before driving off. The victim was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand. He is expected to be ok. No names have been released and no arrests have been made.
