Shreveport Mudbugs Playoff Schedule Announced

Your Shreveport Mudbugs begin playoffs this week against rival Lonestar. It's time to defend the cup, and the 'Bugs need your support.

Around this time last season the Mudbugs were gearing up for what would be an  exhilarating run int he NAHL Playoffs. A run that ultimately led the Mudbugs to their first NAHL Robertson Cup Championship, in just their second season in the league.

Now, things are a little different, but the road remains the same. Win and keep winning. Last season, the Mudbugs came into the playoffs with home ice advantage throughout, meaning the first two games of each series would be held here at George's Pond, and in a best-of-fave series, those two games are mightily important.

This season, the 'Bugs come in as the third seed, meaning they'll be traveling to kick off the first round. This weekend, the Mudbugs take on the Lonestar Brahmas at their place, then will come back to Shreveport for game three on April 19th. If the Mudbugs win any of those three games, the fourth game of the series will be played in Shreveport on April 20th.
