If you're not coming to Shreveport Mudbugs home games, you're severely missing out.

The Shreveport Mudbugs are on a bit of a tear as of late. During the first half of the season, the Mudbugs only played in Shreveport four times. Now, as the back-half gets underway, the 'Bugs are enjoying a long stretch of home games. They play in Shreveport every Friday and Saturday until January.

So far during this nice home stretch, the Bugs have won three out of four, putting together record-breaking high scores rarely seen in the sport of hockey.

These weekend the Mudbugs took on rival Lonestar, coached by Mudbugs legend Dan Wildfong. These games are always intense, and this weekend was no exception. The 'Bugs were able to dominate the ice winning in blowout fashion Friday night, while unfortunately falling short in the rematch Saturday night.

The Shreveport Mudbugs will return to George's Pond for a couple more home games December 20th and 21st.
