Shreveport Police Seeking Wyngate Homicide Suspect

On September 7th, 2022, at 1030 pm Shreveport Police officers were called to the 800 block of Wyngate Circle on reports of a shooting.  Responding officers located a female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The Shreveport Fire Department arrived on scene and the victim was pronounced deceased.

Investigators with the Violent Crimes and Crime Scene Units were summoned to the scene. CSIU collected items of evidence and investigators canvassed the area.  At this time the investigation into this case is ongoing.

In reference to this case, Detectives with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit were able obtain a warrant for a suspect in this homicide.  Investigators advised that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Michael Rachal (5/27/02) for one count of Second Degree Murder.
