Shreveport Rapper Putting Together All Lives Matter Unity Rally For Peace
KSLA says Shreveport rapper "Uncle Ug" is planning a rally for peace later this month to help bring together the local community and stop the violence in the Shreveport Bossier City area. The Rally is being planned for 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on June 25 at Sunflower Missionary Baptist Church on 329 E Texas St. in Bossier City.
The rally is hoping not only to stop violence in the community but stop violence and ease tensions with law enforcement. The event will include live music and speeches from local city officials and pastors.
Uncle Ug made a music video which is featured above about stopping violence in Louisiana. I think this is an amazing idea and it's always great to see people in the community doing things to better their neighborhoods.
