Shreveport Severe Weather Left Many Without Power [PHOTOS]

Mother nature had teased us with a chance of rain the last two days.

Then, on the day with the least chance for rain, we got rain... Plus wind and lightning.

But, no matter how the rain came, I'm just glad it came. Heck, I'd almost forgotten what that liquid from the sky was!!!

Shortly after the storms this afternoon, SWEPCO was reporting more than 55,000 without power.

But, as the weather has cleared up and made conditions safer, that number is rapidly dropping.

Unfortunately, my house is without power.

When I went home to let my Pug, Dharma, outside, I snapped some pictures from my neighborhood. I never knew my next door neighbor had an electric car!!!
