Shreveport Volunteer Network Still Working Hard on Storm Cleanup (VIDEO)

A busy weekend for Shreveport Volunteer Network and other volunteers. SVN posted a video over the weekend of the cleanup efforts near the Keithville-Keachie area after a tornado ripped through the area on Tuesday (12-13-22).

Efforts continued through the week, to get the area cleaned up after the storm, and several volunteers came to help. This tragic storm claimed the lives of a mother and child and left a local man widowed. Donations have been set up to help the man who lost his family, home, and pets during the severe weather.

Caddo School Board Office

Caddo Parish School Board Member Dottie Bell will host "Ring the Bell for our Children on Monday from 8 to 10 a.m. This event will take place in the Board Room of the Caddo Parish School Board Office on Midway. Cash donations will be accepted.
